Sandwich Vending Machine
There are plenty of pros and cons when it comes to owning a
sandwich vending machine.
We'll start with the pros.
People are having a busy day at work and just don't have
time to go out for lunch. Heck they may not even have time to
throw something in the microwave. But surely they have time to
grab a quick bite out of the sandwich vending machine.
They can take it back to their desk and eat while they work,
or depending on the business, take it with them on their way
out the door to an assignment. These machines can be a real
lifesaver (or hunger saver) for busy people. And if they are
located in the right office, they can be a real money maker for
the owner of the machine.
Here's the problem.
Put the machine in the wrong place and you'll lose money,
and that's risk we don't recommend taking. What makes these
machines different from say, a snack vending machine, is that
the items inside are perishable. That means if they don't sell,
you end up losing money. You have to remove the items before
they go bad.
Which brings us to drawback number two. A sandwich vending
machine requires more maintenance than others. You have to keep
it well stocked and check back more frequently to make sure the
items inside do not go bad. It will take up more of your
time.
So yes a sandwich vending machine can make you good money.
But you have to be ready to put in a little more time and
effort. And you have to make sure it is in a good location
where people will actually use it. If not, you will end up
losing money. That's why we recommend you go with other options
first.
